Chrona is designed with privacy as a core principle. Here is how we handle your data:

Data Storage All health data you enter into Chrona is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud storage. Your data never leaves your phone.

No Account Required Chrona does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

No Data Collection We do not collect, transmit, or share any of your health data, personal information, usage data, or analytics. We have no way to access your data.

No Tracking Chrona does not contain any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not track how you use the app.

No Ads Chrona does not display advertisements.

Third-Party Services If you choose to use the optional AI-powered features (lab report scanning, AI summaries), your data is sent directly from your device to Anthropic's API using your own API key. Chrona does not intermediate, store, or have access to this data. This is entirely optional and opt-in.

Backups If you create a backup, the file is encrypted with a password you choose and saved to your device. We never have access to your backups.
